Soulja Boy Doesnt Wanna Improve Himself

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Soulja BoyA few weeks ago we told you about the feud between O.G triple O.G Ice T and Mr. Crank that Soulja Boy. If you didn’t catch it, Ice T came out and said that Soulja Boy was “single-handedly killing Hip-Hop”, and also added that Mr. Crank That should “eat a dick”. At the time we disagreed with the way Ice T came across, but after hearing what Soulja Boy told MTV we might have to rethink things.

Soulja Boy recently told MTV that he did not wanna improve his lyrical skills, he said:

“If I wanted to, [I could] go that route and be respected [not for] my success … respected [for] my music and my lyrics or whatever.”That’s why I did the mixtape that I did. I did a mixtape called ‘Teen of the South’ with Dj Scream. And I did that just to step my game up a little bit on that [lyrical] side. But I wasn’t really going into no album and just full-fledge trying to switch my swagger and try to get respect from the game.”

Soulja Boy seems to have a small chip on his shoulder. He followed that statement with adding:

“‘Cause why would I show love to the game? The game don’t show you love back. So I wasn’t gonna do that and come back out and mess up my image and mess up myself. I was going on the strength that I want respect from people who probably don’t like me anyway. So I’m gonna stick to what I do and stay being successful and I’ll do some mixtapes and some futures, something like that.”

Does he not realize that the “game” is what is putting food on his table every night. That’s like a rookie going into the league and saying that he isn’t gonna get better, that he is good and wants to keep his rookie image. If you a true artist like Jay Z, Bun B, Nas, or even the late great 2pac and Biggie, your fans will jam you anyway. We here at randomgossip.com have to agree with Ice T on one thing, and that is if what Soulja Boy feels is the way other young artists feel then Hip-Hop will die a slow painful death. Thank God that isn’t the case!

Wayne On Top…Again

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Lil WayneAfter selling over a million units his first week, and dropping to second behind Coldplay the following 2 weeks, Lil Wayne has gained the number 1 spot again. After suffering a 25% loss in sales in his fourth week, “The Carter 3″ still managed to push out 156,000 units raising his total sales to 1.68 million. Coldplay dropped to second with 149,000 units sold. With Disney’s soundtrack to the “Camp Rock” movie, the Jonas Brothers came in third with 116,000 units sold.

G-Units released their second album “Terminate On Sight” thinking it would give the top spot a run. Their first album “Beg For Mercy” broke 377,000 units back in 2003. That wasn’t the case as the group came in 4th with 102,000 units sold. Couldn’t even beat out the Disney band. With 50 Cent being in the media a lot lately you would have thought sales would have been a bit higher.

We are anxious to see if Wayne can be knocked off the top of the mountain anytime soon. With albums from Killer Mike, Nas, Randy Travis, Lloyd, and The Vines releasing on the 15th of July we will see.

50 Cent Sues For 20 Million

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

50 cent and sonRapper 50 Cent is going after $20 million from his baby momma! Now isn’t that a bit backwards? Pay attention and learn something. On May 30, 2008 50’s home in Dix Hills, New York burned to the ground in what local law enforcement is calling a suspicious fire. Dix Hills fire chief says, ?definitely suspicious,?and ?The rapid movement of the fire?It was engulfed. The home was totally gutted.? Six people including 50’s son Marquise and the child’s mother, Shaniqua Perkins all got out of the house and were treated for smoke inhalation.

The house was part of a legal battle between 50 and Ms. Perkins and things were leaning in 50’s favor. Now the DIRT!! Think about this…

(1) She was paying 50 rent in exchange for living in the home

(2) 50 has more money than he knows what to do with

(3) He was about to win the house she lived in

After all the smoke clears it seems pretty clear what happened. Be mad if you want to Shaniqua, but you know you burned that man’s house down! When celebs get into trouble the public likes to root for the “victim,” but this time the victim is the celeb. You asked for a motive and we’re pointing out a few… anger and jealously.

50 Cent House FireOut of the $6000 he pays her per month in child support, she pays him $4,500 right back for rent. Oops!! Who owns the house? You guessed it, Mr. Jackson. So let’s all take a minute and go back to school with it and do some math. 6 grand minus $4,500 equals a whole $1,500 left over. $1,500 is a lot of money, but to someone of 50’s status $1,500 is nothing.

The lawsuit came into play when Shaniqua went in front of the media screaming, “He tried to kill me and his son.” She was served with the papers just minutes before filing an order of protection against the rapper. We think she filed it because she found out he was suing her… and to make it look like she’s scared of him she filed the restraining order. COME ON PEOPLE! If somebody tried to kill you would you wait a week and a half before you filed for protection? She’s not scared of him and he didn’t burn down that house. Shaniqua Left Eye’d that fool. 50 and Andre Rison have something in common now.

This is all about the grass being greener on the other side. 50’s doing better than Shaniqua and she wants a piece of his pie since 50 got a piece of her pie. We just laughed. Remember right before the Super Bowl a woman accused wide receiver Randy Moss of domestic violence, which wasn’t true. Celebrities and star athletes have this happen to them a lot, but because of their status in society they are automatically seen as the bad guy. They have a lot of money, popularity, and pull, and it is amazing the lengths people will go to be a part of that life style. We here at randomgossip.com support SOME celebrities and star athletes, but when they mess up please believe you will read about it right here!!
