Apparently this is big news. Some of you want to know the strangest things. The story isn’t long and eventful, pretty much the opposite.

Monday night, Mario Lopez arrived at Tao with a group of friends and checked his man purse. Slater and his friends partied it up and when it was time to leave he presented the coat check chick with his ticket. When she produced his man purse, Mario thanked her and left. No tip.

There’s a huge deal being made of this and we just don’t think it’s that big. How many times have you not tipped a bellman, a courier, a valet, or a coat check person? I’m sure you can think of at least once, whatever the reason may have been: no change, you were in a hurry, someone else in the group tipped for everyone, etc.

Don’t sweat it Mario, it’s not that crucial.
