The future Hall of Fame quarterback came out of retirement and wanted to either continue his career with Green Bay or be traded within the division. Neither happened, but he was traded to who? The New York Jets… The Packers came to a trade agreement late Wednesday night sending Favre to the Jets for a fourth round pick. Now before you jump out your seat wondering why Green Bay would give up a quarterback with the skill of Favre for a fourth round pick, there is a catch. NFL Network reports that if Favre takes 50% of the snaps with the Jets, then the fourth round pick becomes a third round pick. If he gets 70% and Jets make the playoffs, then the pick becomes a second round pick. If 80% of the snaps are taken by Brett and the Jets make it to the Super Bowl then the pick becomes a first round pick. The same odd face you are making right now is the same face we made. How do you give a Brett Favre for a chance at a good pick and you let Aaron Rogers run your team? If we remember correctly, the Packers went 13-2 just last season with Brett running the team. Hey we here at randomgosip.com are not NFL experts, but a dog with one and eye and no teeth that meows would have made a better decision than this one. All we can say is good luck to Brett in New York, and Green Bay we hope you know what you are doing cause we don’t.

A few weeks ago we told you about the feud between O.G triple O.G Ice T and Mr. Crank that Soulja Boy. If you didn’t catch it, Ice T came out and said that Soulja Boy was “single-handedly killing Hip-Hop”, and also added that Mr. Crank That should “eat a dick”. At the time we disagreed with the way Ice T came across, but after hearing what Soulja Boy told MTV we might have to rethink things.

Soulja Boy recently told MTV that he did not wanna improve his lyrical skills, he said:

“If I wanted to, [I could] go that route and be respected [not for] my success … respected [for] my music and my lyrics or whatever.”That’s why I did the mixtape that I did. I did a mixtape called ‘Teen of the South’ with Dj Scream. And I did that just to step my game up a little bit on that [lyrical] side. But I wasn’t really going into no album and just full-fledge trying to switch my swagger and try to get respect from the game.”

Soulja Boy seems to have a small chip on his shoulder. He followed that statement with adding:

“‘Cause why would I show love to the game? The game don’t show you love back. So I wasn’t gonna do that and come back out and mess up my image and mess up myself. I was going on the strength that I want respect from people who probably don’t like me anyway. So I’m gonna stick to what I do and stay being successful and I’ll do some mixtapes and some futures, something like that.”

Does he not realize that the “game” is what is putting food on his table every night. That’s like a rookie going into the league and saying that he isn’t gonna get better, that he is good and wants to keep his rookie image. If you a true artist like Jay Z, Bun B, Nas, or even the late great 2pac and Biggie, your fans will jam you anyway. We here at randomgossip.com have to agree with Ice T on one thing, and that is if what Soulja Boy feels is the way other young artists feel then Hip-Hop will die a slow painful death. Thank God that isn’t the case!

Heath Ledger’s final movie and Christian Bale’s second installment of the Batman series is still going strong in the box office. For the third week in a row The “Dark Knight” is in the driver seat and looking pretty good behind the wheel grossing 43.8 million dollars this weekend. The brings the total to 394.8 million dollars total since the much anticipated release three weeks ago. There were speculations that Brandon Fraser’s “The Mummy: Tomb of The Dragon Emperor” could make a run to knock off the dark one, but it fell short grossing 42.5 million dollars in it’s opening weekend.

It is expected that “The Dark Knight” will pass Shrek 2 for the fastest movie to gross 400 million dollars. That is not where it ends though. Batman and Joker are making a pretty good run at Jack and Rose from Titanic for the spot of highest grossing film of all time. We saw part one and were very impressed with the spin they put on the series, but we have not seen the second one. Lazy yes we know. We hear it is good, and well, the numbers don’t lie.
