What the hell? When Fidel Castro stepped down as president of Cuba, his brother Raul stepped into the position. But what is Raul doing now? That’s easy… he’s making sure all citizens have access to FREE sex changes! The procedures will be performed free as a part of the nation’s health care system. Doctors in Cuba performed their first sex change operation in 1988, then canceled future operations because of the controversy surrounding the issue.

When Raul took office in February he started making changes immediately. He raised salaries of government workers. He dropped his brother’s policy of not allowing citizens to own cell phones. He also made it legal for Cubans to rent hotel rooms and cars. All these things we can understand. But sex changes made free by the government? We’re just glad our tax dollars aren’t paying for it! If you want a sex change, we’re cool with that… we just don’t want to foot the bill.
