Does this dude ever just shut up?! Don Imus’s mouth got him in trouble again, this time for his comments on his radio show about Dallas Cowboys corner back “Pacman” Jones. The whole issue started when sportscaster Waren Wolf told Imus that Jones wanted to swamp monikers. Here’s how the rest of the conversation went:

“He’s been arrested six times since being drafted by Tennessee in 2005,” Wolf said.

“What color is he?” Imus asked.

“He’s African-American,” Wolf responded.

“Well, there you go,” Imus said. “Now we know.”

You would think that he learn his lesson from the comments he made about the Rutgers women’s basketball team, calling them “nappy-headed hoe’s.” After that comment was made Don Imus was fired from MSNBC. His show “Imus in the Morning,” was of course no longer aired by MSNBC. It seems nothing has changed for the radio show host. After his comments started showing up everywhere, Imus came out and made this statement:

“He’s a football player. He is a lovely kid. He was out there having fun,” Imus said

“What people should be outraged about is that they arrest blacks for no reason, and I mean there’s no reason to arrest this kid six times,” he said. “They shoot blacks for no reason.”

Rev. Al Sharpton hopes that Imus stands by his explanation “If now Imus is saying he’s joined the ranks of those that are raising the question of racial disparity in the criminal justice system, then he’s taking a correct position. I don’t have any record of him saying that in the past,” Sharpton said. Sharpton also went on to say that Imus brought this on himself by making the statement and leaving it out there without no explanation. Maybe Imus was looking out for black people, or maybe he was covering up the fact that he made another big mistake and trying to save his butt. Who knows, but one thing is for sure he has a talent for putting his foot in his mouth.
